Țiriac Tower Building Is Powered 100% by Energy from Renewable Sources

Țiriac Imobiliare, part of the Țiriac Group, has completed construction works for the Țiriac Tower office building, one of the landmark properties in central Bucharest. The premium office project reached a 75% occupancy rate ahead of its official opening.

The year 2022 began for Țiriac Tower with official confirmation from the supplier Engie Romania regarding its full supply of energy from renewable sources. According to the contract signed with Engie Romania, the electricity delivered to the Țiriac Tower building comes 100% from renewable sources, with the first certificates of origin to be issued by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE). Efficient LED lighting solutions, designed to reduce energy consumption, have had a positive impact on performance, supporting the building’s sustainable approach.

Nine companies from the IT, pharmaceutical, insurance, real estate, and services industries operate within the building through more than 800 employees. Located in the Victory Square area, 200 meters from the Government headquarters, Țiriac Tower covers a total built area of 30,969 sqm, of which 16,364 sqm represent leasable Class A modern office space distributed across 12 floors and ground floor level.

The high standards of safety and efficiency achieved, as well as the technology invested in the new project, place Țiriac Tower in the exclusive category of buildings certified LEED Platinum and WELL Health-Safety. In this way, Țiriac Tower establishes itself in the heart of Bucharest through a sustainable approach designed to guide long-term development and shape a new image for the business district in Victory Square.
